Our client is looking for Linux Technical Lead and SOE Developer to oversee and manage the Linux-based infrastructure and develop a Standard Operating Environment (SOE). You will design, test, and deploy a robust and efficient Linux environment, along with developing a comprehensive management platform to support these environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership for selection and development of the Linux Platform and supporting support systems.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Linux-based systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, desktop support, and platform support personnel to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure system security, performance, and reliability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain documentation on system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Develop, test, and deploy a Linux SOE
- Design and implement a management platform for efficient environment management and troubleshooting.
- Develop high-level and detailed designs, test regimes, and test plans.
- Ensure the SOE is secure, stable, and scalable.
- Provide documentation and training for the support team and end-users.
Key Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Linux Technical Lead or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Red Hat and Ubuntu.
- Strong experience in building and deploying Linux environment
- Proven experience in deploying Linux SOEs and management platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with Red Hat/Alma, Ubuntu Pro, and Ubuntu.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop user requirements, high-level designs, and detailed designs.
- Experience in developing and executing test regimes and test plans.
- Experience in supporting Linux environments and developing support documentation.
- Certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) or LFCE (Linux Foundation Certified Engineer).
