Systems Administrator

• Permanent role|Onsite parking|AU Citizens Only
• Experience in Windows Desktop, server, VMware and Networking
• Experience with Modern 2-way radio systems|Based in Sutherland Shire

Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator who will have experience with Modern 2-way radio systems.

You will support and maintain Operational Technology. Operational Technology manages hardware and software that detects or causes a change, through the direct monitoring and/or control of industrial equipment, assets, processes and events. Typically these are computer systems that run software to manage buildings, manufacturing and other plants (storage plants, waste process plants, etc).

Key Skills Required:

• Experience with Modern 2-way radio systems
• Experience with Motorola radio -configuration settings to be programmed
• Experience in maintenance and support of the radio systems
• Experience in Windows Desktop management – Active Directory, Group Policy, Account management, Powershell
• Experience in Windows Server management – Familiar with server management, Remote desktop management, WSUS, system patching, familiar with email systems,
• Experience in VMware – end user operation can create and deploy VMs.VMware – understand how VMware clusters work and virtual networking,
• Experience in Veeam backup and restore,
• Experience in Networking – Understands networking, familiar with the OSI model and network subnetting,
• Familiar with digital certificate management for web servers and other services,
• Understands session protocols for firewall management,
• Interested in Linux to assist with support for monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, etc.
• Willing to work within a highly regulated environment working with change management processes and assist with risk assessments,
• Interested in industrial facilities and maintaining computers that support manufacturing and plant. Ideally is familiar with AVEVA Plant SCADA software,
• Interested in other technologies such as cameras and radios
