Role: Transformation Project Manager – Financial Services (M&A focus)
Tenure: 12 month contract with a view to extend

About the Role:
You’ll lead high-impact projects within a broader business transformation program, particularly focused on mergers, acquisitions, and company integrations in the financial advisory space. This is a hands-on leadership role with visibility across executive stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategic Projects Drive end-to-end delivery of business and technology initiatives that enhance client service, operational efficiency, and innovation.
- Project Planning & Execution Develop and manage detailed project plans including timelines, scope, budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
- Governance & Reporting Provide regular updates and governance reporting to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment.
- Risk & Issue Management Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and interdependencies proactively across all phases of delivery.
- Change Management & Continuous Improvement Champion change initiatives and foster a culture of collaboration, adaptability, and ongoing improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment, engagement, and successful project outcomes.
Key Skills Required:
- Proven experience in Project Management within Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Professional Services
- Strong background in M&A integration, multi-entity transformation projects, and business separation initiatives
- Experience working within Financial Planning, Wealth Management, or M&A environments, with a strong understanding of business separation, integration, and transition strategies
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Deep understanding of change management methodologies and embedding change into delivery
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery models
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master
