Our client is looking for a Technical Business Analyst who will be responsible for bridging business needs with technology solutions, ensuring that enterprise applications and processes are well-documented, strategically aligned, and continuously improved. The position requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Process Analysis
    • Engage with business functions, teams, and individuals to understand operations.
    • Accurately document AS IS processes in consultation with subject matter experts.
  • Solution Delivery & Requirements Management
    • Support project teams, internal stakeholders, and IT in delivering applications and solutions.
    • Document clear requirements and map TO BE processes, solution functionality, and integration complexities across the enterprise.
  • Enterprise Architecture & Assessments
    • Contribute to architecture assessments and lead initiatives that enhance business understanding.
    • Identify and recommend technology solutions to solve complex problems while maximizing organisational value.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
    • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and operational effectiveness.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business and IT functions.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Uphold compliance with the organisation’s project delivery framework, methodology, and principles.
    • Ensure IT solutions adhere to reference architecture models, standards, and patterns defined by the enterprise architecture function.
  • Technology Awareness & Future Trends
    • Maintain knowledge of application trends, emerging technologies, and viable alternatives.
    • Understand user perspectives and impacts across upstream and downstream systems

Key Skills Required:

  • Broad experience in a Business/Technical Analyst role or a role requiring business process re-engineering and improvement in large and complex organisations.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure uplift projects
  • Experience with the Microsoft Technology Stack including M365, SharePoint, Power Platform and Azure
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to write clearly, present confidently, build strong relationships, and lead workshops
  • Demonstrated experience of creating business and technology architecture models and/or has a comprehensive understanding of the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Knowledge of TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or certification desirable.
