System Administrator

Our client is hiring a System Administrator who ensures the stability, performance, and security of the infrastructure across data centres, cloud environments and VDI platforms.

Key Skills Required:

• Experience in Microsoft Server 2016/19/22, AD, DHCP and DNS
• Experience in Cloud platforms: Azure, EntraID, O365
• Technical experience in Windows 11 deployment and patching
• Experience in VMWare vCentre and ESXi
• VDI solutions (Citrix, Horizon, AVD) experience
• Experience in Monitoring/alerting tools (PRTG, Solarwinds, Nagios)
• Backup & recovery solutions (Azure, AWS, Veeam) experience
• MS Exchange, SMTP, SFTP, SSH experience
• Applying ITIL service management practices
• Security Essentials: PKI, SSL, WAF, CDN
• Trend Micro Suite, MS Defender, Sentinel
• Shared storage & iSCSI fundamentals
• Industry?standard operating systems and applications
• Enterprise IT strategies, concepts and architectures
• Current and emerging IT technologies, including automation
• Data privacy and security practices and laws
• Technical documentation and research methods
• Customer?centric service approaches
• Proven ability to work with vendors and MSP’s to deliver outcomes and solve technical problems
• Professional certifications: VMWare VCP, Microsoft MCP, Cisco CCNA
