Our client is looking for a Portfolio Master Scheduler who will be responsible for standardisation of scheduling processes within the Program Management Office. We seek a detail-oriented and strategic Master Scheduler to oversee and optimise the scheduling processes across multiple projects.
You will be responsible for the uplifting of the existing Master Scheduling process, helping Project Managers to develop and manage a comprehensive project schedule, ensuring they align with overall program objectives and are transparent and predictable. You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding Project Mangers to develop their own schedules and build them to a high level.
You will actively uplift scheduling and improve standardisation across PMO.
– AU Citizen is required due to security clearance.
Key Skills Required:
- Proven abilities and experience in developing detailed, complex program schedules and delivering training and processes to support the use of established schedules.
- Extensive experience in a master scheduler role in supporting the delivery of complex project schedules and programs of work
- Experience in creating schedules, managing resource constraints in a large enterprise
- Strong understanding of resource scheduling, and project management with the ability to create pragmatic schedules highlight issues for resolution such as resource constraints and dependencies on different skillsets
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to achieve required outcomes
- Understanding of portfolio and project management tools such as MS project, and Primavera
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Project and Program Management methodologies such as Prince2, PMBoK, Agile, MSP
